How does it Work?

I can offer you a cost-effective bookkeeping solution using Excel, MYOB, or Quickbooks Online.  The Bookkeeping Services will be specifically tailored to the needs of your business so that you provide the source data and we do the rest.

We take care of all the processing and will not only provide you with weekly or monthly financial reports but we will explain what they mean to help you manage your business.  Deb Mason Bookkeeping also provides a pick-up service for local businesses and will come to you to collect your source data (receipts, cheques butts, etc.)

Processing costs for payroll will be billed at a set amount per pay run on a sliding scale depending on the number of employees.

How Much Does It Cost?

The price quoted for small business bookkeeping services will be fixed for the term of the contract. And consists of the following:

Setup Costs:

Before Deb Mason Bookkeeping can process your financial transactions, your financial information needs to be re-created using the appropriate accounting software.  This involves creating a chart of accounts and loading current account balances from source data. Like your latest profit and loss statement and balance sheet).

The cost will vary depending on the size and complexity of your chart of accounts or payroll records. The cost can be as low as $65.00 for a basic setup. But can be significantly higher for a business with multiple departments or cost centres.

The setup cost can be reduced for businesses that can provide electronic financial records. If they can be uploaded to the latest versions of MYOB or Quickbooks.

Processing Costs:

The processing costs will also vary depending on the typical number of transactions in a processing period. With a minimum charge of $65.00 for each processing period.  Before commencing your bookkeeping for you, the price will be negotiated between Deb Mason Bookkeeping and yourself. The price will be based on the average number of transactions. The price will remain fixed at the quoted price unless there is a significant variation (a variation of 20% or greater) in the number of actual transactions.

An adjustment (up or down) to the agreed price can only be renegotiated once during the life of the contract.
